Heart attack injury has found new hope through development of cardiac patches without any live cell by researcher team of North Carolina State University, USA. Non-involvement of live cell prevents triggering its rejection from body immunity system and off-the-shelf feature presently enable storing at least for a month. These off-the-shelf cardiac patches found to be as useful as fresh one and have been successfully tested on rats and pigs.
